My Mind Runneth Over

Revolutionary resolutions

Feeling a little "over-resolutioned" for the new year?  Here are some quick fixes you can implement into your daily schedule until you have time to address any of those pesky vanity related long-term goals.

Looking for a serious makeover? Settle for a quick pick-me-up, such as that "Can I see your ID" rush you haven't heard in years.  I suggest you bat your eyelashes at that twenty-something clerk whom you are old enough to have parented and who knows, it may cause just enough of a distraction to get you carded after all!

Finding yourself less than ready for your close-up?  For a real boost - pick up a tabloid when the "What the stars look like without makeup" issue hits the stands.  Suddenly, everyone's on equal footing.

And finally, why add the stress of weight loss on January 1st?  We live in Northeastern Ohio - bathing suit season is like...mid July!  You'll have plenty of time to get serious come Spring, but for now, as you gear up to say goodbye to snow and ice, say hello to that decadent piece of chocolate cream pie - you've so earned it!

Remember...50 is the new 40 (or 35 depending on how much of a "glass is half full" kinda person you are), so relax those resolutions, have a little fun, and feel free to share your successes with your Town Crier friends.

It's even possible to be twenty-five depending on what your glass is half full of. Anyway...my resolution is not to go bankrupt...its more difficult than it sounds...
