"Lenten Retreat in Daily Life"

The Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road, Canfield, will host a “Lenten Retreat in Daily Life” program Tuesdays, March 2 through April 13 from 10 to 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. For reservations or more information, call Eileen Novotny at 330-533-3831.

Friends of Poland Library meeting

The Friends of the Poland Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday March 2 for coffee in the library meeting room. Following the 10 a.m. business meeting, Carol Weakland will portray "The Scarlet Letter." Recent book and magazine donations will be collected for the Poland Friends fundraiser book cart.

Tri-County Chapter of Medical Assitants meeting

The Tri-County Chapter of Medical Assistants will meet at 7 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Family Health Center, 1053 Belmont Ave., Youngstown. Desiree Santangelo, licensed social worker, will speak about living wills. Guests are welcomed.

Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre auditions

The Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre will hold auditions for its upcoming production of “Cinderella” from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, March 1 and 2 at the Playhouse. Performances are scheduled for April 28 through May 1. For more information, call the box office at 330-788-8730.
