Canfield Local Schools registration

Registration for kindergarten and new students in grades one through four to the Canfield Local Schools will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 31 at Hilltop Elementary School, 400 Hilltop Blvd., and C.R. Campbell Elementary School, 300 Moreland Drive. Required immunizations do not need to be complete by registration, but must be presented. Dana Clarinet Studio recital

Fall prevention program

A falls prevention program will be held from 11 a.m. to noon or 6 to 7 p.m., at St. Joe’s at the Mall, inside the Eastwood Mall in Niles. The program is free but registration is required. Call 330-652-7542 for more information.

Mended Hearts meeting

Mended Hearts, Chapter 7, a support group for heart survivors and their families, will be meet at 7 p.m. in the Azalea Room of St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman. An optional dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. The public is welcome. For more information, call 330-702-8859.

Pride Youngstown is seeking volunteers for its upcoming Pride Festival, scheduled for June 5 in downtown Youngstown, to celebrate the arts and culture of the local LGBT community.
