Mill Creek 10s win state tourney

Mill Creek Baseball’s 10-year-old all stars rolled through the Cal Ripken State Championship over the weekend by winning the state tournament held in Warren. The team now advances to the Ohio Valley Regional Tournament in Mt. Sterling, Ky., where teams from 10 states will compete for a chance to participate in the Cal Ripken World Series to be held in Ocala, Fla., in August. The Mill Creek team is comprised of, in front row: Hayden Bennett, Drew Havrilla, John Johnson, Jared Fabry, Anthony Elberty, and J.C. Scott. In center row are; Antonio Page, Coleman Stauffer, Tristan Ballard, Josh Scheetz, Brennen Olesh, and Cole Constance. In back row are: Jay Scheetz, Doug Constance, manager Dave Stauffer, and Jason Olesh.
