Children host celebration for Dianas’ 50th

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center was the setting at 5 p.m. Aug. 2 for a celebration honoring Pat and Josephine Diana of Austintown on their 50th wedding anniversary.

Invitations to the event were extended by their children and their spouses, Anthony and Nancy Diana, and Pat and Debbie Diana. The couple also has five grandchildren, Brittany, Patrick, Brendan, Jordan and Alexa Diana.

Patrick Diana and the former Josephine Lazazzera were married July 25, 1959 at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. They are members of St. Joseph Church in Austintown.

Mr. Diana, a U.S. Army veteran, served during the Korean War. He retired as a letter carrier from the Boardman branch of the U.S. Postal Service.

Mrs. Diana, a homemaker, worked for General Electric prior to her marriage.
