Nov. 28

2:10 a.m. - Criminal damaging auto and theft from auto were reported from the parking lot of Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

6:45 a.m. - Criminal damaging auto and theft from auto were reported from the parking lot of Perkins, 804 Boardman-Poland Road.

9:41 a.m. - Menacing was reported following an incident at Foxey’s Auto Service, 4200 Simon Road.

9:47 a.m. - Criminal damaging was reported from an Oakridge Drive residence.

11:12 a.m. - Vincent R. Thomas Jr., 24, 2733 Cain St., Youngstown, was arrested for violation of a protection order following an incident at a Paulin Drive residence.

12:43 p.m. - Officers arrested James M. Sellers, 41, 321 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown, on a theft charge at the Mahoning County Jail, where he is incarcerated on a separate charge.

12:55 p.m. - Telecommunications harassment was reported from a South Cadillac Drive residence.

1:20 p.m. - Jennifer N. Zackasee, 28, 1945 Borden St. #2, Youngstown, was arrested on a burglary charge following an interview and confession at the Mahoning County Jail.

1:30 p.m. - Marc A. Chicase, 34, 719 Nellbert Lane, was arrested at his residence on two counts of theft following an interview and confession.

2:00 p.m. - Latisha A. Mays, 41, 330 Scott St., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of passing bad checks after turning herself in at the station.

2:06 p.m. - Identity fraud was reported from Vivo Brothers, 8420 South Ave.

3:03 p.m. - Police arrested Elaine Gonzalez, 42, 2231 Selma Ave., Youngstown, for theft following a shoplifting at Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.

3:35 p.m. - Breaking and entering was reported from a garage on Shields Road.

4:02 p.m. - Identity theft was reported at the station.

4:10 p.m. - Theft was reported by a resident at Greenbriar Healthcare Center, 8064 South Ave.

4:20 p.m. - Theft was reported after a catch basin cover was found to be missing from the parking lot of Patella Carpet and Tile, 6620 Market St.

5:16 p.m. - Theft was reported after a catch basin cover was found to be missing at Salinas Trail and Santa Fe Trail.

6:38 p.m. - Theft was reported from a Euclid Boulevard residence.

7:23 p.m. - Police arrested Andrew D. Stanton, 22, 26 N. Navarre Ave., Austintown, at a Melrose Avenue residence following investigation of an attempted breaking and entering on Melrose Avenue.

9:51 p.m. - Auto vandalism was reported from outside a Shadyside Drive residence.



Nov. 29

2:31 a.m. - Following investigation of a single-vehicle crash on Southern Boulevard at Akron Children’s Hospital, police arrested Alexander A. Martz, 20, 95 Shadyside Drive, for OVI and cited him for failure to maintain control.

7:59 a.m. - Theft was reported after beer kegs were stolen from outside of O’Charley’s, 930 Windham Court.

10:42 a.m. - Menacing was reported from a Glenwood Avenue residence.

2:00 p.m. - Criminal simulation was reported after a counterfeit bill was discovered at Bob Evans, 1437 California Ave.

2:01 p.m. - Police arrested Michael Phillips, 54, 323 Mistletoe Ave., Youngstown, for theft following a shoplifting at Lens Crafters, 265 Boardman-Canfield Road.

2:31 p.m. - Identity theft was reported at the station.

3:03 p.m. - Theft from auto in the parking lot of Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd., was reported at the station.

3:58 p.m. - Michael E. Gay, 40, 3480 Flo-Lor Drive #6, Youngstown, was arrested for theft following investigation of a shoplifting at Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.

4:26 p.m. - Criminal mischief was reported from outside a Huntington Drive residence.

9:40 p.m. - Following a traffic stop on Southern Boulevard, police arrested Rufus W. Barnett, 21, 185 E. Judson Ave., Youngstown, for obstructing official business and on a failure to appear warrant from Youngstown PD, and cited him for possession of marijuana.



Nov. 30

12:31 a.m. - Following a traffic stop on South Avenue at Trailwood Drive, police arrested William E. Holmes, 63, 545 W. Creed St., Struthers, for OVI and carrying a concealed weapon, and cited him for failure to signal.

11:08 a.m. - Menacing was reported from a Montrose Circle residence.

11:42 a.m. - Following investigation of a single-vehicle crash at Shields Road and Glenwood Avenue, police arrested Linda Snyder, 46, 401 Rockdale Ave. #71, for OVI and cited her for failure to maintain control. Further charges are pending.

12:04 p.m. - Burglary was reported from a South Schenley Avenue residence.

2:32 p.m. - Theft was reported following a fraudulent withdrawal from Home Savings and Loan, 4005 Hillman Way.

3:10 p.m. - Grand theft was reported after merchandise was shoplifted from Tele Gold, 8051 Market St., and Adamas Jewelry, 8391 Market St.

3:56 p.m. - Theft was reported from a residence at Martin’s Mobile Home Park, 4055 South Ave.

4:28 p.m. - Theft was reported following an attempted shoplifting at Family Dollar, 4030 Market St.

5:04 p.m. - Theft was reported after merchandise was shoplifted from AT&T, 650 Boardman-Canfield Road.

10:23 p.m. - Burglary was reported following an incident at a Nevada Avenue residence.
