Frasco united with Syphard in July

Jayna A. Frasco became the bride of Collin A. Syphard during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony July 20, 2013 at Holy Family Church in Poland. Monsignor William Connell performed the ceremony uniting the daughter of Nancy Ponikvar Frasco and the late Joseph T. (Jay) Frasco and the son of David and Patti Syphard, all of Poland.

The bride was escorted by her grandfather, Harry Ponikvar. She wore a gown designed of diamond white satin charmeuse accented with hand-beading, embroidery and Swarovski crystals, featuring a sweetheart neckline with shoulder straps, distinctive cowl back and chapel length train. She carried a cascade of ocean song and white roses, purple and white calla lilies, stephanotis and purple stock.

Meghan Gear, maid of honor for her cousin, wore an African violet, full-length gown with bow detail at the shoulder and carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas. Bridesmaids identically attired included cousins of the groom Giovanna, Arianna and Nina DelGarbino.

Brent (Buck) Marakas served as best man. Groomsmen included brother of the groom, Ian Syphard, brothers of the bride, Garrett and Spencer Frasco, Nick Syphard, cousin of the groom, and friends of the couple, Marc Carney, Jerrod McQuown, Dave Peck and Logan Wigley.

The new Mrs. Syphard earned her bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Youngstown State University and is employed at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Akron, as a freight accounting analyst.

Mr. Syphard received his bachelor of science in business administration degree from the University of Akron with a concentration in supply chain and operations management. He is employed as a purchasing agent for Applied Vision Corporation in Akron.

Following their honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Barberton.
