Aug. 21, 7:19 p.m. -- Following a call to Dicks Sporting Goods, 550 Boardman-Poland Road, regarding a person trying to return stolen merchandise, Jerome L. Campbell-Atkins, 39, 124 West Princeton St., Youngstown, was charged with receiving stolen property.

8:41 p.m. -- Following a traffic stop on a suspected intoxicated driver on U.S. 224, Phillip T. Bolender, 24, 2481 Redgate Lane, Boardman, was charged with endangering children and was cited for disorderly conduct.

9:41 p.m. -- Following a call to 241 Wildwood Drive regarding a domestic situation, John R. Powell, 26, of that address was taken into custody on a Columbiana County warrant for failure to appear on underage consumption charges.

Aug. 22, 10:35 a.m. -- Following a dispatch to 4649 Yarmouth Lane to serve a warrant, Katherine L. MacDonald, 63, of that address was taken into custody on an Austintown warrant for telecommunications harassment.

2:39 p.m. -- Following a call to the Southern Park Mall, 7401 Market St., regarding a suspicious vehicle, Aaron S. Agee, 21, 479 Catalina Ave., Youngstown, was cited for possession of marijuana and was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs.

6:50 p.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drivem regarding a shoplifter, Michael C. Mele, 27, 1841 Wingate Road, Poland, was charged with theft.

7:24 p.m. -- Following a call to TJ Maxx and More, 717 Boardman-Poland Road, regarding a bad check, Marqus A. Koranteng, 20, 3519 Dover Drive, Boardman, was charged with theft by deception.

9:41 p.m. -- Following a call to 1227 Thalia Ave. regarding an assault, Amber P. Rothwell, 30, 1125 Thalia Ave., Boardman, was charged with assault.

Aug. 23, 1:18 a.m. -- Custody was taken from Salem Police of Carol M. Kimble, 41, and Jack R. Kimble, 40, both of 635 E. Sixth St., Salem, who were both under Boardman warrants for multiple counts of thefts.

7:14 p.m. -- Following a call to Kohls, 383 Boardman-Poland Road, regarding a fraudulent return, Lavette Boone, 49, 172 Elm Road, Struthers, was charged with theft.

11:21 p.m. -- Following a traffic stop on South Avenue while working with the OVI Task Force, Lawrence M. Csernik, 55, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired.

Aug. 24, 2:44 a.m. -- Following a traffic stop on U.S. 224 while working with the OVI Task Force in a checkpoint, Shaun M. Uscianowski, 36, 13169 Unity Road, New Springfield, was charged with trafficking in drugs (marijuana), possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and carrying a concealed weapon.

7:46 p.m. -- Following a call to Goodwill, 285 Boardman-Canfield Road, regarding a suspicious vehicle, Aileen Fontanez, 34, and Jose O. Fontanez-Rodriguez, 48, both of 122 North Truesdale Ave., Youngstown, were each charged with theft.

9:03 p.m. -- Following a call to an Aravesta Avenue residence regarding an assault, a 13-year-old Boardman male was charged with assault.

Aug. 25, 12:36 a.m. -- Following a traffic stop on Glenwood Avenue, Daniel J. Frazzini, 20, 146 Shadyside Drive, Boardman, was charged with underage possession of alcohol and drug abuse, a 16-year-old Boardman male was charged with underage possession of alcohol, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse, and was cited for a curfew violation, and a 17-year-old Boardman male was cited for a curfew violation.

8 a.m. -- Custody was taken from Trumbull County deputies of Michael J. Kohut III, 38, 438 N. Bonair St., Youngstown, who was under two Boardman warrants for theft as well as theft warrants from Bath, Brimfield, Mercer County and Hermitage, Pa.

2:10 p.m. -- Following a call to Sears, 7401 Market St., regarding a shoplifter, Raymond L. Edwards, 54, 153 Truesdale Ave., Youngstown, was charged with theft.

8:12 p.m. -- Following a traffic stop on South Avenue, Carla T. Edmonds, 43, 597 W. Warren Ave., Youngstown, was taken into custody on a Niles warrant for failure to appear on larceny charges.

Aug. 26, 9:26 a.m. -- Following a call to 5234 Old Oxford Lane regarding a wanted person, Matthew J. Treharn, 29, of that address was taken into custody on a Boardman warrant for domestic violence.

Police also responded to the following during the period:

13 domestic disputes with no arrests made.

32 reports of theft.

6 reports of criminal damaging.

3 reports of telecommunications harassment.

3 reports of identity theft.

2 reports of criminal trespassing.
