Aug. 29, 12:58 p.m. -- Following a call to the area of South Avenue to assist Ohio Highway Patrol troopers on a traffic stop, Derick M. Edwards Jr., 19, 2534 Tampa Ave., Youngstown, was taken into custody on a Boardman warrant for theft.

2:25 p.m. -- Following a call to a West Boulevard residence, a 14-year-old Boardman male and a 13-year-old Boardman male were each charged with unruly juvenile run-away.

2:32 p.m. -- Following a call to Sears, 7401 Market St., regarding three shoplifters, Kenisha R. Coleman, 20, 327 East Auburndale Ave, Youngstown, J'Nai T. Martin, 19, 807 Delaware Ave., Youngstown, and Breosha M. Moses, 19, 714 Cambridge St., Youngstown, were each charged with theft.

3:17 p.m. -- Following an investigation into a vehicle parked at Town and Country Motel, 5235 Market St., Ashley R. Toy, 29, 5441 West Middletown Road, Canfield, was taken into custody on Liberty warrants for possession of drugs, trafficking, and possession of criminal tools.

Aug. 30, 12:16 a.m. -- Following a traffic stop on Indianola Road while working with the OVI Task Force, Victoria M. Lewis, 21, 412 Ferdale Ave., Youngstown, was charged with Driving while under the influence.

1:54 a.m. -- Following a traffic stop on Market Street, Amy Spath, 43, 6846 Twin Oaks Court, Canfield, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired.

4:52 p.m. -- Following a traffic stop on Market Street, Cody A. Highley, 20, 608 E. Fifth St., Salem, was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was cited for a turn signal violation.

Sept. 1, 2:33 p.m. -- Following a traffic stop on Glenwood Avenue, Breona J. Layton, 22, 548 W. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, and was cited for an unsafe vehicle.

Sept. 2, 3:23 p.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, Julie E. Clevinger, 48, 12205 Goshen Road, Salem, and Shelley A. Rugar, 22, of the same address, were each charged with theft.

3:27 p.m. -- Following a call to Dillards, 7401 Market St., regarding a shoplifter, a 15-year-old Struthers female was charged with theft.

10:48 p.m. -- Following a call to a Lemans Drive residence regarding a runaway juvenile, a 14-year-old Boardman female was charged with running away, resisting arrest and theft.

Sept. 3, 6:15 p.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, Andrea N. Wilson-Campbell, 41, 4027 Euclid Blvd., Boardman, was charged with theft.

7:17 p.m. -- Custody was taken from Wellsville Police of Kayala M. Shaderline, 24, 309 Bentley Road, Newell, W.Va., who was under a Boardman warrant for theft.

10:33 p.m. -- Following a vehicle crash in the parking lot of Mr. Anthony's, South Avenue, Tarah L. Desatnik, 30, 15249 Hoyle Road, Berlin Center, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired.

Sept. 5, 2 a.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding possible drug use in a vehicle, Brandon C. Gaetano, 18, 945 Afton Ave., Boardman, was charged with abusing harmful intoxicants and drug abuse.

Police also responded to the following during the period:

23 domestic disputes with no arrests made.

33 reports of theft.

4 reports of criminal damaging.

4 reports of telecommunications harassment.

2 reports of identity theft.
