Cardinal Mooney's star right side hitter, McKenzie Reese, has committed to play volleyball at The College of Wooster. Reese, a four-year starter for the Cards, was named to the All-District second team as a junior, when she averaged 10 kills a game and the Mooney squad reached the district finals with more than 20 wins.
McKenzie was named captain as a junior and again in her senior year.
In addition to her interscholastic play, she has six years of junior Olympic competition playing for the Infinity Volleyball Club coached by Curt Conser.
The Cards are undefeated in early season play and are coached by Tony Gorvette. Miss Reese and her parents, Ed and Diane Reese, live in Canfield.
