High school strolls down memory lane with ‘Blast’

CHS transforms into a dinner-theater extravaganza

The Canfield High School Choral Department is busy with final preparations for "Blast from the Past."

The high school will be transformed Saturday into a dinner-theater extravaganza.

The dinner portion begins 6 p.m. with a 'Taste of Canfield,' which includes a sampling from Inner Circle, White Fire Grill, Inspired Catering from Kravitz, A La Cart Catering, Peaberry's and Suzie's Dogs & Drafts.

The evening continues 7 p.m. with a musical selection of favorites from the 50s to the 90s by the students of the Canfield High School choirs. Performances will include the One Octave Higher Female Ensemble, The Chamber Ensemble and The Concert Choir, Blast from the Past Special Ensemble, and many student soloists.

Tickets are currently on sale. Tasting and concert combination tickets are $20. Concert-only tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
