"There has been a lot of work and sweat over the past three months to prepare for this state tournament run," coach Dave Crawford said. "The boys really wrestled well today (Feb. 5). This might be the most wrestlers the club has sent to districts."
The Canfield Wrestling Club consists of wrestlers in the sixth grade and younger. The boys weekly compete against boys from 11 other area clubs. The wrestlers are paired by age, weight and experience to get the most competitive matches possible.
