August 15, 2018
The Town Crier

Canfield Cub Scouts Pack 115 is wrapping up a fun-filled summer program and getting ready to welcome existing and new members at a unique Meet the Pack Mini-Camp on Wednesday, September 12 at Camp Stambaugh.

"When youth and parents join Scouting, they join to be a part of something fun, unique and to get outdoors," said Canfield Cub Scouts Pack 115 Cubmaster and Eagle Scout, Pat Kelly. "So, Pack 115 is opening up its first meeting of the year with a fun, outdoor mini-camp."

This year is going to be exciting for Pack 115 as they join the Family Scouting movement, and will be welcoming both boys and girls into the Pack as members.

Members of Canfield Cub Scouts Pack 115 (Tara Sweely, Kaden Sweely and Sean Kelly) attended the 2018 area Day Camp and had fun working on their Cub Scout Shooting Sports Award.

"I am very excited about the opportunities this opens to our family and the memories we will make, life lessons we will learn and the time we can spend together," said Pack 115 parent Renee Smail.

The Canfield Cub Scouts Pack 115 Sept. 12 mini-camp will include time for existing Pack members and prospective camp members to get to know each other and have a great introduction to the Canfield Cub Scouts Pack 115 outdoor program.

Activities will include learning about safe BB and sling shot range practices, fun outdoor games and a String Donut Challenge. Meet the Pack Mini-Camp is open to the whole

family, and will also include a parent FAQ Session.
