Glenwood well represented at District 5 Honors Band 2018

A number of students represented Boardman Glenwood Junior High School in the District 5 Middle School Honors Band at the historic Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown on Saturday, Nov. 10. There were approximately 120 students involved from Mahoning, Trumbull and Ashtabula counties. The Middle School Honors Band was conducted by renowned composer, clinician, conductor and music educator William Owens. Pictured are Glenwood musicians and their respective instruments: seventh graders Celesta Richard on percussion, Nicholas Ricottilli on alto saxophone, Angelo Marcella on trumpet, Logan Rosko on trumpet, District 5 Honors Band Conductor William Owens, and eighth graders: Anna Shevock on flute, piccolo, and piano, Alayna Spencer on clarinet, Emma Vondran on clarinet, Carli Hamilton on clarinet, and Cami Goske on baritone. A special congratulations went out to Anna Shevock, principal chair flute, piccolo and piano.
