Schwebel’s announces winners in school spirit contest

Schwebel Baking Company announces 10 winners in the Schwebel's School Spirit: Schwebel's Gives Back Sweepstakes.

This fall, consumers nominated schools and school organizations for showing their school spirit and 10 finalists were voted on from November through December. The Boardman High School Band was voted as the Grand Prize Winner and will be awarded $3,000.

"Schwebel Baking Company is a family-owned business founded in 1906 by my great-grandparents, Joseph and Dora Schwebel. We are active in the communities we serve from supporting family-oriented events to local food books and we wanted to directly impact

students, schools and support education by giving back and rewarding School Spirit," said Lee Schwebel, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications.

Canton Country Day School was voted as the second place winner and will be awarded $1,000. Mogadore (Ohio) High School and St. Patrick School (Canonsburg, Pennsylvania) were voted as the third and fourth place winners and will each be awarded $200. Maryvale

High School (Cheektowaga, New York), Wellington (Ohio) Exempted Village Schools, Poland Seminary High School, Sandusky High School, Orchard Park (New York) Central Schools and West Middle School (West Seneca, New York) were voted as the fourth through 10 place winners and will each be awarded $100.
