Four Boardman video production students and Media Director Chris Clones were recognized at the Columbus Statehouse Thursday, Jan. 24 at the "Celebrate Public Education" PEP Awards. This was the second trip to Columbus for the BSTN crew for winning the Ohio School Board Association's "Stand Up For Public Schools" video contest in November.

In honor of Ohio's Public Education Week, Public Education Partners, a statewide advocacy group, sponsored the celebration. PEP invited teachers and students from outstanding programs across Ohio to share their talents on stage. Boardman's video was played and student Sam Holter and multimedia teacher Chris Clones talked about the BSTN program and its opportunities for students.

Boardman was also presented a Senate Proclamation from Senator Michael Rulli's Office congratulating BSTN and applauding the multi-media program.
