At the Austintown Township meeting earlier this month, trustees were informed they were receiving a Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $115,976 to go towards the Idlewood Road resurfacing project. The grant was approved on the same day at a county meeting held at Austintown Township Hall, prior to the township meeting. Commissioners stayed for the township meeting to present the check. Pictured are township trustees Ken Carano, Mahoning County Commissioners Dave Ditler, Carol Rimedio-Righetti, and Anthony Traficanti, township fiscal officer Laura Wolfe, and trustee Jim Davis, and in back, trustee Doug McGlynn.
