BCIS girls mentorship is a 'model' experience

May 1, 2019

Anyone who watched the Spring Fashion Show at Macy's on March 30 at the Southern Park Mall couldn't help but notice the big smiles coming from the runway. Boardman Center Intermediate School's Girls Mentorship Program helped fill the stage with young models from BCIS.

For many of these girls, it was the second trip back to Macy's this year. They visited during a field trip in November where they learned about healthy skin care and fashion choices. It's one of many professional experiences they received this year, as part of the Girls' Mentorship Program sponsored by the United Way of the Mahoning Valley.
