Foley signs with Hiram

On May 21, Fitch senior soccer player Dominic Foley signed his letter of intent to continue his athletic career at Hiram College this fall.

Foley started playing organized soccer at age six, playing on an Austintown Junior Soccer League team. He also played youth basketball, football and baseball, giving him a good sampling of sports at a young age. In middle school, he played basketball and went back to soccer at Fitch.

Over his career with the Falcon Soccer Team, Foley was named to the Second Team All-Conference and First Team All-County leading up to his senior year. This season he was given the honors of First Team All-Conference, First Team All-District, and was runner up for District Player of the Year.

Dominic Foley signed his letter of intent on May 21 to play soccer for Hiram College this fall.

"Dom was our team MVP and leading scorer from this past season," said head coach Tracey Direnzo. "He was a three-year starter and may have been the most physically gifted player we had. Along with his physical talents, Dom is a very bright student. I wish him success in this next chapter in his life."

Foley chose to continue his next chapter art Hiram where he will major in management. He said Hiram seemed to be a good fit.

"Hiram is good school and it is close," he said. "I'll be able to come home when I want to."
