Boardman High School junior, Sam Holter, has won the Ohio Turnpike's W82TXT Teen Video Contest. Holter's PSA is a creative and poignant 60-second spot designed to grab the attention of teens and adults alike.

The video, entitled "Are You There," re-enacts a texting and driving scene in which Sam plays all the roles. He shot, edited, and produced the video--skills he began at the age of 8, using an iPad and his lego figures to make short movies. He has honed and refined those video production skills in the BSTN (Boardman Schools Television Network) program at Boardman High School.

"We are incredibly proud of Sam, his dedication to the BSTN program, and all of his accomplishments," said Media Production Teacher Chris Clones. "Sam is also the technical director, choosing the shots that run on our Video Board during Football and Soccer Games at Spartan Stadium. He has a hand in almost all facets of our program."
