Fun on the tree farm

November 6, 2019
The Town Crier
In October, the Poland Business Association presented its first 'Poland Community Day.' The event was held at Frank and Mary Jan Perdulla's Pioneer Trails Tree Farm on Center Rd. (Rt. 224) in Poland Township. Several Poland businesses and organizations offered fun activities for a family friendly afternoon. Visitors to the event enjoyed a wagon ride through the Christmas Tree fields and making s'mores following the ride, a jump house, climbing on heavy construction vehicles, making Christmas ornaments, coloring and visiting the display booths.
The Poland Historical Society displayed items from the Schoolhouse and provided a photo op with pioneer style clothing. Children enjoyed the dress-up opportunity and the adults enjoyed the pictures filled with memories. Pictured are historical society members Larry Baughman, Diane Baughman, Ashlynn Mason, Melanie Noble, Joyce Noble, Laurie Fox, and Dave Smith, who all enjoyed the dress-up opportunity.
