Student Council helps stock the shelves at Poland Food Pantry

November 20, 2019
The Town Crier

Holy Family students collected canned foods and non-perishable food items for the month of October to donate to the Poland Food Pantry. The project was coordinated by the Student Council representatives. Student Council Teacher Advisor, Renee Abbattista, said, "A food drive service project was sponsored by the members of Student Council at Holy Family School. Students at HFS donated non-perishable food items during the month of October as part of their beginning of the school year charitable acts of kindness in our community." Luke Petrony is one of the third grade Student Council Representatives. This is his first year in Student Council and first experience with helping the canned food collection firsthand. He said, "It was a little bit of work but it's nice to help people."
