Students donate to Operation Christmas Child

December 4, 2019
The Town Crier
Eighth grade students at Poland Middle School stuffed 50 shoe boxes full of personal hygiene items, school supplies, clothing, and toys to send to Operation Christmas Child. Students came up with the idea for the community service project, collected donations and came up with a fundraiser to pay for postage to ship the boxes, which will be sent to children across the world. Each shoe box also contains a hand-written note from an eighth grade student at Poland Middle School. Pictured are Alivia DiNunzio, Caliope Kindinis, Ava Sabrin and Paige McGivern, eighth grade students at Poland Middle who stuffed shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
