Canfield High School makes blankets for Akron Children's Hospital

December 23, 2019
The Town Crier
Students in the Canfield High School Art Club donated over 90 blankets to Akron Children's Hospital. The students spent the past few weeks making the baby blankets. They selected the material, followed a pattern, and spent hours constructing the blankets. The blankets will be distributed to patients of the hospital. The Art Club selects a charity to donate to every year. Pictured are, in back row: Kate Antal (teacher), Lin Jacques, Elisabeth Facemyer, Gracey Klugart, Sophia Cianciola, Aurora Fares, Morgans Robbins, Amelia Francisco, Kami Childers, Abby Crowe, Victoria Robbie, Jamie Demain (from Akron Children's); in middle row: Nicole DeFabio, Emma Dodig, Rocky Rossi, Jordan Helmick, Sanjana Nallapaneni, Aaron Ferguson; and in front row (kneeling): Angie Ferguson, Jenna Fitzpatrick, Grace Rosko, Sam Lutton, Gia Francisco, and Eliza Blasko.
