Three Falcon football players put pen to paper on National Signing Day (Feb. 5) to continue their athletic careers this fall. Chris Scott and Joe Perez signed with Lake Erie College and Christian Armstrong signed with Tiffin University.

Armstrong, who was a Falcon defensive end, said Tiffin was a good match.

"Tiffin has a great environment and culture," Armstrong said. "I love it there."

While at Tiffin, Armstrong plans to major in criminal justice with a preferred goal of getting involved in Homeland Security.

Chris Scott had a little help in his decision from a former Falcon star. He had conversations with Antwan Harris from the Fitch Class of 2016, who plays football at Lake Erie.

"I talk with him and he tells me a lot about Lake Erie College," Scott said. "I feel like it is home for me."

Scott will major in exercise science while at Lake Erie, with the hopes of someday coaching.

Also committing to Lake Erie College was Joe Perez. He plans on majoring in nursing and said Lake Erie was an easy choice.

"I like the coaching staff and it was just a good fit," he said.

Although not signing on Wednesday, Fitch's Kyle Moore was in attendance wearing his OSU shirt. He said the films he sent to OSU were reviewed and he was notified recently that he will be a preferred walk on.

"It was great," he said. "I've been an OSU fan since I was born. I always dreamed of going there."

Moore doesn't have a major yet.
