Boardman Park announces closures and cancellations

Boardman Township Park is continually monitoring the Governor's orders and all information provided by the Centers for Disease Control regarding the coronavirus. The health and wellness of all residents is the top priority during these unprecedented times.

Based on the latest recommendations, the following closures and cancellations have been issued:

The Park office will be closed to the public. Park staff will be on duty from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in order to answer phone calls regarding reservations for Park Facilities and other questions regarding the Park.

The Park will be accepting reservations for dates after May 1, 2020.

Boardman Township Park is closing all rental facilities through April 5. Facility rentals affected by the closure will be fully refunded.

The Maple Syrup Festival scheduled March 21, 22, 28, 29 is canceled.

Evening with the Easter Bunny scheduled April 1 and 2 is canceled, and program registrations affected by the closure will be fully refunded.

Tyke Hikes scheduled Tuesdays in April will be rescheduled for Tuesdays in May

Paws Town Renewal memberships will be extended until May 1.

Thursday Night Disc Golf League has been canceled until further notice. Visit for more information.

The Park will remain open from 7 a.m. to dark for a walk in the Green Oasis, being surrounded by the beauty and peacefulness of nature.

Restrooms will remain open. Boardman Park staff will double, or more, the usual restroom cleaning routine using cleaning products recommended for guarding against the coronavirus.
