Members of Harley Owners Group from Harley Davidson Bike Town in Austintown are not letting cold weather slow their warm hearts. On March 20 they are pulling together for a bake sale to benefit a special little man, Brett Wilcox.

Scouts gather to celebrate 100 years

Area Scouts gathered at the Holiday Inn in Boardman on Tuesday, March 9 for their annual Celebration of Scouting Breakfast. This year’s event was extra special as the Boy Scouts were celebrating their 100th year.

The program officially got under way when William Moss of Poland took out his Kudu horn. Moss portrays Baden Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts in England.

St. Patrick's Day Parade set for Sunday ... rain, shine, or snow

For the 32nd consecutive year the wearing of the green will be well represented during the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This year’s parade will kick off at 1 p.m. Sunday (March 14) in Boardman.

AMS cast shows they have heart, brains and courage

The Austintown Middle School Drama Department will kick off this year's performance of "The Wizard of Oz" tomorrow and Saturday, March 12 and 13. The play will feature elaborate costumes and carefully prepare sets, all completed by the students.
